Why AI usage is metered, not unlimited

Every menuGPT conversation and every campaign forecast runs on a real language model that costs us per request — there's no way around that. Metering it honestly, with generous included allowances and transparent overage rates, means light users never subsidise heavy ones, and heavy users never get throttled without warning. You'll always see your usage and projected overage in your dashboard before it's billed.

Is the Basic plan really free forever?

Yes. The Basic plan — one branch, one menu QR, AI extraction, digital menu page, and 50 menuGPT sessions a month — is free with no time limit and no credit card required.

What's the difference between Intelligent Menu and Restaurant Suite plans?

Intelligent Menu plans cover the digital menu, menuGPT, ordering, kitchen display, and QR management — everything needed to turn the menu itself into a selling tool. Restaurant Suite plans include all of that plus reservations, guest CRM, loyalty tiers, and the AI campaign engine, for restaurants managing the full guest relationship, not just the menu.

What happens if I go over my table limit?

Nothing breaks and nothing is blocked. Extra tables beyond your plan's limit are simply billed at a per-table monthly rate — $3.00/table on Menu Pro and Starter Suite, $2.50/table on Menu Business and Growth Suite — shown clearly on your invoice.

What counts as an 'AI session' or 'AI campaign generation'?

An AI session is one guest conversation with menuGPT, from their first message to the end of that ordering session. An AI campaign generation is one AI-generated campaign suggestion or sales forecast run from the Campaigns dashboard — these analyse weeks of order history per run, which is why they're metered separately from chat sessions.

Will I get billed unexpectedly for AI overage?

No. Your dashboard shows real-time usage against your plan's included allowance throughout the month, with an estimated overage total visible before your billing date. We also notify you by email at 80% and 100% of your included allowance.

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Yes. Upgrade whenever you need more tables, AI capacity, or features. Downgrade at your next billing renewal. There's no lock-in.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) accepted. Annual invoicing available for Suite and Enterprise plans.

Is there a setup fee?

No setup fees on any plan. You only pay the monthly or annual subscription, plus any metered overage you actually use.

Why do prices show both AED and USD?

Pricing is shown in AED first, since that's the home currency for most of our GCC customers, with the USD equivalent alongside for international comparison. You can be billed in AED, USD, GBP, or EUR — your invoice currency doesn't have to match the currency your guests order in.
